East Valley Attack Combat Robotics is a non-profit corporation and shall operate exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code. The specific mission is to educate and inspire area youth and the youth at heart on the fundamentals of combat robotics (also known popularly as Battlebots TM) while educating and promoting character-building skills.

The specific purpose of this organization is:

• to provide a supervised league of combat robot events structured under the rules and regulations of the Standard Procedures for the Advancement of Robotic Combat (also known as the SPARC rules) and/or similar robotics combat event programs;

• to foster national amateur sports competitions in robotic combat;

• to provide opportunities for teaching and learning manufacturing/machining techniques;

• to provide opportunities for teaching and learning how to optimize for additive & subtractive designs.
